Good morning!

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend as much as you could. 

Did you like the Odd Boy Out book? I hope so, because we are going to work about it during the following days. Let's start!

Since we are going to work on a story, you can print the cover of the book and stick it in an Input page (or draw it, if you want to) or you can just write the title as an input. The rest of the days, we are going to do output activities, so you can use all the pages that you need for outputs (they do not have to be left pages, you can use both right and left pages for the outputs)

First of all, you have to read, paying a lot of attention, part of the Odd Boy Out story. Here you have a link to the book. You have to read pages 1 to 14 (included).

When you finish, you are going to create a wordbank. This is your first output for this book. The words you have to define (not translate) are: 

joy - swollen - fret - skull - tantrum - compass - wander - odd - snappy - "dull-witted"

Have you finish the wordbank? Remember to send me a picture of it! If there is any other word that you do not know, please look for its meaning. It is important that you understand the whole text before continuing with the next activity. Now, you have to answer some questions about the pages that you have read:

Since you have worked hard today, you are going to relax by listening to the third part of "Survivor".

 This time, you are going to complete some activities in the same website in which the audio is. Below the audio, there are two activities marked in purple:

You just have to click on each of them and the activity will appear for you to complete.

To summarise, what you have to do today is:

1. Read odd boy out, pages 1 to 14

2. Create your wordbank (send me the picture)

3. Complete the online questions (remember to include your e-mail addres)

5. Complete the online activities about survivor 3.
