I hope you are all well. I have to say that I really liked your "Show and Tell" presentations and I loved to see you in the videos!. You did a great effort with them.
1. Today, we are going to start a new unit entitled "Staying Healthy", so the first thing you have to do is to write the title of the unit in a clean INPUT.
2. After that, you have to match vocabulary and pictures in this game:
3. Now, you have to read this file with more vocabulary about Health.
Easy, isn't it? Paste the vocabulary file in your INPUT page with a flap (we are going to write below). (If you do not have a printer, just read it)
4. Now, below your vocabulary file, you are going to create a word-bank (yes, you can use a dictionary, even an online one) with the following words (remember, you have to write definitions in ENGLISH, you should not translate the words):
Tablets - Hospital - Injection - Doctor - Chemist - Ambulance - Medicine - Plaster - Bandage - Dentist - Nurse - Sore throat - Runny nose - Flu - Rash - Chickenpox - Indigestion - Infection - Sprained ankle
5. When you finish your wordbanks, you have to do an OUTPUT using this vocabulary. You are going to do a mind map. Here you have a draft for your mindmaps. You DON'T have to print it; do it by YOURSELVES. You have to use all the words given in the example and follow the same structure.
