¡Hola a todos, 4º y 6º!

Ha llegado el día, el día de las despedidas, pero también el día de comenzar las tan ansiadas vacaciones.

Si cuando nos despedimos rápidamente en marzo porque íbamos a estar dos semanas sin ir al colegio de manera presencial me hubieran dicho que íbamos a llegar al 19 de junio sin haber vuelto a pisar nuestro cole, no me lo hubiese creído.

Pero como habéis podido observar en estos meses, la vida es muy incierta, y nunca podemos saber lo que va a pasar.

Estoy muy orgullosa de todos los que habéis seguido trabajando hasta el final. Habéis demostrado ser muy responsables y tener muy claro que el esfuerzo es algo muy importante. No os rindáis, vienen tiempos de tener que elegir (sobre todo para los que os váis al instituto): estar solos en casa y tener que ser vosotros quienes decidan ponerse a estudiar o trabajar sin que vuestros padres os lo digan, quedar con los amigos aunque al día siguiente tengáis un control... Creo que muchos habéis aprendido ya, en estos meses que hay tiempo para todo, y que la responsabilidad, el trabajo y el esfuerzo os llevarán allá donde queráis ir. Espero que no olvidéis esto, porque es probablemente una de las cosas más importantes que habéis aprendido a lo largo de toda vuestra andadura en el cole.

Además de aprender, habéis tenido suerte. Suerte de estar en este colegio, suerte de los profesores que habéis tenido a lo largo de toda esta etapa, porque si algo he aprendido yo en mi primer curso en este centro es que, si duda alguna, "el Labordeta, lo peta".

A los chicos y chicas de 6º, espero que nos veamos el próximo curso, que vengáis a hacernos una visita en septiembre y podamos despedirnos de vosotros como os merecéis.

Mi grupo de 4º, sólo puedo decir... ¡Ojalá seáis mi grupo de 5º!

No quiero ser muy pesada, que seguro que ya tenéis ganas de que os deje en paz y de comenzar vuestras vacaciones. Sólo quiero desearos unas felices vacaciones y, que consigáis todo lo que os propongáis. ¡Sed muy felices!

¡Buenos días 4º!

¿Cómo fue ayer con el trabajo de liter sobre ayudar a los demás? Espero que muy bien.

Hoy nos toca trabajar las science. Vamos a continuar con las funciones vitales del ser humano, que eran: nutrición, relación y reproducción. Ya habíamos repasado qué aparatos intervienen en la función de nutrición: digestivo, respiratorio, circulatorio y excretor. Habíamos comenzado con la función de relación, viendo que consta de: órganos de los sentidos (que ya los hemos visto), sistema nervioso (que también lo vimos la semana pasada) y aparato locomotor (que es del que nos vamos a encargar hoy).

Comenzamos entonces viendo un vídeo sobre el aparato locomotor.

Como hemos visto, el aparato locomotor se compone de huesos, articulaciones y músculos. Vamos ahora con unas láminas para pegar en el INPUT (o copiarlas si no tenemos impresora) y que nos quede todo muy claro y muy resumido. Podéis imprimir las láminas en pequeñito para que os quepan todas en la misma página o pegarlas con "ventanita".

Ahora que ya tenemos clara toda la información, vamos a demostrar lo bien que conocemos el aparato locomotor haciendo un mind-map sobre el mismo, indicando todos sus componentes.

¡Buenos días chicos y chicas de 4º!

¿Cómo estáis?

Hoy comenzamos con literacy. Vamos a hablar sobre un tema muy importante: ayudar a los demás.

Ahora que ya nos hemos metido un poco en el tema, vamos a hacer algunos ejercicios de lectura sobre ello.

Ejercicios

Comenzamos por recortar el ejercicio 3 (el texto) y lo pegamos en INPUT. Lo leemos bien y prestando mucha atención. Después colocamos los ejercicios 1 y 2 en OUTPUT y los hacemos. En el ejercicio 1 tenemos que escribir cada palabra debajo de su dibujo. En el 2, hay que indicar si esas frases sobre el texto son verdaderas o falsas (sí, corregimos las falsas).

I have read some of your fairy tales' new versions and I really like them. I think your classmates would also like them, so you are telling them your stories!

Your work for today is to prepare a nice presentation to read your fairy tale and record a video usin this resource:

PLEASE, DO THE VIDEO WITH THE FLIPGRIP RESOURCE IN THE LINK. The idea is that you can all watch your videos, and even respond to them (always if you have something nice to say). Give this platform a try, I am sure you will like it. It is very easy to use!:

5. Start reccording!
6. You can add stickers and so on if you want to.

You can wear a costume related to your story, you can create some decoratios, puppets... Whatever you want!

Since your stories are long, you do not have to memorise them, you can read them. However, for making your videos better, you can put your papers on the wall behind the camera, you can put them inside a book to seem you are reading the story... One more time, use your imagination and try to seem natural.

When you finish, you are going to do a short reading activity. You have to read this story, which is an adaptation of a fairy tale entitled "Rumpelstilskin".

Good morning everyone!

How are you doing these days? I hope you all are great.

Where were we? Oh yes, we were working with fairy tales. We had compared Snow White and the seven darfs with a new version of the story entitled Snow White in New York and this week we have worked on story plots.

All these work leads us into today's task. You are going to re-write a fairy tale!

You can pick your favourite fairy tale (Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The little mermaid, Goldilocks...). It is interesting if you have the book, because I think your work will be easier. However, if you do not have the book, you can look for the story in youtube.

When you have selected the story you are going to work with, you have to think on changes you can do to make it different (as we have seen with Snow White in New York). Since we are re-writing, the story must still be similar to the original one. Here you have a video explaining how to re-write a fairy tale:

Follow the steps in the video (you can pause it any time) and re-write your favourite fairy tale.

You can do it by hand or with your computer. I am anxious to read your fairy tales!

Finally, here you have some tips for doing a perfect work:

• It should not be shorter than 3/4 of a page or longer than 1 and a half pages.
• Look at the dictionary (you can use an online one) to check your spelling doubts.
• Read your work in order to check if your sentences are well structured.
• Use the original version of the fairy tale as a guide when writing your draft.
• Use your imagination and be creative!

¿Cómo fue ayer la visita al "Cold Planet"? Espero que genial, y que aprendieseis mucho sobre los diferentes fonemas.

Vamos hoy con un poco de science. Continuamos repasando las funciones vitales del ser humano, que ya sabemos que son nutrición, relación y reproducción. Ya habíamos trabajado la función de nutrición y todos los aparatos que intervienen en ella (digestivo, respiratorio, circulatorio y excretor) y ahora nos encontrábamos trabajando la función de relación. Hemos trabajado los órganos de los sentidos, pero todavía nos quedan el sistema nervioso y el aparato locomotor para terminar con esta función. Hoy nos vamos a centrar en el sistema nervioso.

Y ahora, como OUTPUT vamos a hacer un mindmap en el que tenemos que incluir qué partes tiene nuestro sistema nervioso y qué hace cada una de ellas. Podemos volver a ver el vídeo e ir parándolo cuando aparezca información importante que queramos añadir a nuestro mindmap.

Good morning everyone!

Today we start the last month in this weird school year. And not only in this school year, for you this is your last month at the school!

As far as your literacy lessons are concerned, today we are going to continue working with the "Snow White in New York" story. As you will remember, las week we compared this story with the original version of the fairy tale. That is what we are going to work on today: fairy tales.

We are going to discover how fairy tales are structured. First of all, we have a video to watch about the plot structure:

Now lets start talking about the plot in fairy tales. We are going to do one input and two output activities (one written and one online). They are part of the Snow White in New York mini-unit, so you can use its pages for doing it.

For our input, we are going to need the following template (if you do not have a printer, you can copy it):

This input consists on a "pyramind" in which we explain how a fairy tale plot usually works. First, you have to create the structure, and then you will have to write the necessary information for each part of the plot. Here we have a video in which it is explained how to create the structure with the given template:

Now, let's start writing what each part means. You have to copy the definitions below their flap in from the pyramid (you copy the definition of exposition under the exposition flap, and so on) I will also write some examples, I thik it is more clear with the examples, but you do not need to copy them if you do not want to. I am going to define them in the order that they happen in the story, from the first to the last:

Exposition: In the exposition the characters and set are presented. The main event is usually introduced. For instance, in Little Red Riding Hood, the exposition presents us the girl, her mother, and the main event: she has to take food to her grandmother's house.

Rising action: Those are the problems and events that complicate the main event. In the Little Red Riding Hood, the rising action would be when she walks through the forest and the wolf lies to her.

Climax: This is when the main problem reaches its peak, the most complicated moment of the story. In the example, it would be when Little Red Riding Hood arrives into her grandmother's house and she realises that the wolf is dressed up as her grandmother.

Falling action: This refers to the events which happen after the climax and prepare the story to get to its end. In this case, when the little girl runs away from her grandmother's house and a hunter goes after the wolf.

Resolution: How the story ends. This refers to the way in which the problems are finally solved. In the example, the hunter kills the wolf and Little Red Riding Hood and her granny are finally safe.

Now that you know how a fairy tale's plot works, can you identify the different parts of the plot in the Snow White in New York story? I am sure you can! To do so, you are going to create an output with this template (remeber you can print it or copy it):

Now that you have the new pyramid ready, you only have to write below each part, the corresponding part of Snow White in New York (you can find helpful the examples I gave you with the Little Red Riding Hood story).

To conclude this day full of work, you are going to complete an easy online worksheet in which you have to read a very short story (it is just one paragraph) and answer some multiple choice questions. You also have to match definitions of the parts of the plot with their part. Now, you are going to express your opinion on "How schools should be like next September". You are going to do it orally, and you are using a website that I am going to share with you. At this website, you can record your video and you can watch your classmates videos and even answer to them. This is private, so only your school peers and I will watch your videos. You do not have to prepare anything this time, just think on how school should be like after coronavirus (from less pupils in the class and safety measures to online trainning, or even new subjects or teaching-learning ways that you propose. It is your opinion!

When you finish putting your ideas in order  with the table, you have to WRITE a short text in your notebook comparing both stories. ¿Cómo fue ayer el trabajo sobre las diferentes tiendas en Liter? ¡Seguro que genial!

Hoy vamos a trabajar un poco con science.

Como ya hemos repetido muchas veces, el ser humano realiza tres funciones vitales que son nutrición, relación y reproducción. Ya habíamos repasado la función de nutrición, es decir, la que consigue la energía que necesitamos para nuestro día a día. En ella intervienen el aparato digestivo (que extrae los nutrientes de la comida que ingerimos), el aparato respiratorio (que obtiene el oxígeno del aire), el aparato circulatorio (que reparte los nutrientes y el oxígeno por todas las células de nuestro organismo y recoge las sustancias de deshecho), y el aparato excretor (que expulsa las sustancias de deshecho). Estábamos ahora trabajando la función de relación, en la que participan los órganos de los sentidos, el sistema nervioso y el aparato locomotor. Habíamos comenzado a repasar los órganos de los sentidos; ya habíamos visto vista, oído y olfato, y hoy vamos a terminar con gusto y tacto.

Comenzamos con el sentido del gusto y la lengua. Vamos a ver un vídeo que nos lo explica muy bien:

Ahora, vamos a dejar plasmado en nuestro cuaderno todo lo que sabemos del sentido del gusto. Comenzamos por imprimir y pegar (o copiar) estas láminas en nuestro INPUT.

¿Ya está? ¡Genial! Ahora, en el OUTPUT, vas a hacer una lista con 5 alimentos dulces, otra con 5 salados, otra con 5 amargos, y otra con 5 ácidos. Después dibuja una lengua e indica qué parte de la lengua percibe cada sabor.

Vamos con un poco de Liter. Hoy vamos a trabajar las compras. Comenzaremos escuchando una canción sobre ir de compras.. ¿Cuántas tiendas nombra la canción?

¿Habéis estado muy atentos? Bien, porque ahora vamos a trabajar un poco con esta canción:

Como siempre, tenemos dos fichas. El ejercicio 1 lo vamos a pegar en INPUT. En este ejercicio tan solo tenemos que escribir el nombre de cada cosa debajo de su dibujo.

Los ejercicios 2, 3 y 4 los pegamos en OUTPUT. En el ejercicio 2 nos piden que ordenemos esas frases que aparecen en la canción. Para ello la escuchamos otra vez y vamos numerando las frases según aparezcan. El ejercicio 3 consiste en indicar qué podemos comprar en cada tienda; hay dos opciones al final de cada frase y tenemos que rodear la que creamos que es la correcta. ¡La canción nos da las respuestas! Finalmente, en el ejercicio número 4 tenemos que dibujar nuestra tienda favorita y escribir cuál es y qué nos gusta comprar allí.

Good morning everyone!

How was your weekend? I hope you had fun.

Today we are starting a new mini-unit based on another book. As we did with the "Odd Boy Out", you have to write the title (or print and paste the cover of the book) in an INPUT page, and use the following pages as OUTPUT.

The book we are working with is entitled "Snow White in New York", and, as you would imagine, is a new version of the classic Snow White and the seven darfs.

We are going to start by watching the video-book and answering some questions meanwhile:

Easy, wasn't it? Now that you are familiarised with the story, we are going to start to work with it. First of all, you have to create your INPUT with the cover or a nice title. Then, you have to watch the video again (or read the story) and try to answer some harder questions:
